Our first-ever all women’s expedition was a great success!
The True Patriot Love Women’s Expedition: Baffin Island 2019, Presented by Mackenzie Investments brought together a team of women from the military and female business and community leaders from across Canada. Together, they snowshoed across the Arctic Circle and traversed the Akshayuk Pass, and had the rare opportunity to visit the northern section of the Owl River Valley.
Working as a team to complete this mission, participants faced physical, emotional and mental roadblocks throughout their journey. Each expeditioner had the opportunity to share stories and create meaningful relationships for a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
In addition to completing the physical goal of snowshoeing the Akshayuk Pass, the expedition team has been collectively raising critical funds for True Patriot Love to support military and Veteran families. We are close to reaching our $1M goal and we need your help to achieve this.
