Calling all Montreal-area Veterans! 

Camp Aftermath invites you to an unforgettable experience that combines volunteerism, personal growth, and community service – a transformative personal journey that also makes a positive impact on others. 

Camp Aftermath is one of seven new partners in True Patriot Love’s Veteran Volunteerism Initiative, bringing its unique, purpose-driven volunteer program to Veteran volunteers.  

One of the highlights of the program is the volunteerism retreat at Camp Garagona in Frelighsburg, QC, a year-round, bilingual camp that has been welcoming campers living with Down syndrome, autism, and other spectrum disorders for over 50 years.  

From fundraising events to creating inclusive activities like Halloween haunted walks and arts and crafts projects, volunteers will be part of a community that values diversity, empathy, and service. Camp Aftermath participants report that, after the retreat, they experience a renewed sense of purpose and a commitment to continuing their service in their home communities. 

Camp Aftermath aims to host three rotations in the fall of 2024, and they’re on the lookout for 30 Veterans to join this incredible adventure.
