The focus of this funding opportunity is to support the 2025 Invictus Games Research Legacy Project, which aims to deepen our understanding of the challenges and triumphs experienced by those who have served our country. The Invictus Games are not only a celebration of those who served, but also a powerful platform of recovery, rehabilitation and community for impacted service members from across the globe.
Rapid Literature Review to Inform the 2025 Invictus Games Research Legacy Project:
We invite proposals for a Rapid Literature Review that will play a pivotal role in informing the research legacy of the 2025 Invictus Games. This review will synthesize existing literature on topics related to military and veteran health, with a particular focus on areas relevant to the Invictus Games participants. We believe this initiative will be a crucial steppingstone in identifying gaps in knowledge, refining research priorities, and ultimately shaping impactful initiatives for our military community.
Who Can Apply:
The call for proposals is open to academic researchers affiliated with a Canadian CIMVHR Member University. Additionally, we welcome proposals from international affiliates, provided they collaborate with a Canadian CIMVHR Member University. To foster a diverse and comprehensive research approach, we encourage proposals that identify additional collaborators from other academic institutions, research hospitals, and government representation from Invictus Games Participating Nations.
How to Apply:
All proposals must be led by at least one Principal Investigator with a strong background in academic research and a passion for advancing military and veteran health.
