Adaptive Sports Fund
The Invictus Games Legacy was established by True Patriot Love to invest in targeted areas of need before, during and long after the Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025. A key pillar of the Invictus Legacy is the Adaptive Sports Fund, which works to remove longstanding barriers to participation in adaptive sports.

About the Invictus Legacy and Adaptive Sports Fund
The Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025 represented the first ever winter-hybrid edition of the Games. Over 12 days, Canada welcomed 534 competitors from 23 nations competing across 11 adaptive sports, delivering local, national and global impact. True Patriot Love was proud to have led the bid to return the Games to Canada and to establish the Invictus Games 2025 Legacy.
The vision of the Invictus Games 2025 Legacy is to strengthen Veteran well-being, advance meaningful Indigenous reconciliation and engagement through support for Indigenous Veterans, and increase access to Veterans’ rehabilitation and recovery programming through the unifying power of sport.
By addressing challenges related to accessibility, Veteran participation and equipment availability, the Fund enables Veterans to engage in adaptive sports year-round, including during the winter season. It also looks to contribute to best practices, leverage the physical and psychological benefits of consistent community-based recreational activity, and help lay the groundwork for future winter hybrid games.
