About Us
The True Patriot Love Foundation was founded in June 2009 by Canadian business and community leaders to raise funds and awareness for mental health, physical rehabilitation, and transition programs for Canadian Armed Forces members, Veterans, and their families.
The inspiration for the organization came from the growing recognition of the sacrifices made by military families, particularly during the conflicts in Afghanistan. Our founders sought to bridge the gap between civilian communities and the military, beginning with grassroots community grants and growing to become Canada’s primary foundation for the military community.

To advance the well-being of military members, Veterans, and their families through research, advocacy, and strategic grant-making to inspire recovery, strengthen families, and foster community connection.
Value Proposition
We steward funding with a national lens, directing it where the need is greatest. We invest in high-impact initiatives, champion the issues that matter most, and raise awareness of the remarkable skills and leadership developed through military service. As a national foundation, we unite partners across sectors so the military community can access the support they need to thrive, when and how they need it.
