After a 13-year career as a Military Engineer Officer in the Canadian Armed Forces, including deployments to Somalia, Barb chose a new career as a registered psychotherapist and professional art therapist, supporting other Veterans on their journeys of healing. “I have created art for most of my life. Art lets the body and the hands hold what speech cannot. This helmet with poppies sits in that space.
