Annual Educational Trip – France 100
From November 10-14, 2018, in honour of the 100th Anniversary of the end of the Great War, WWI, True Patriot Love will lead an incredible behind the scenes tour in France and Belgium, exploring the defining moments that helped shape Canada as a nation.
Guided by former Chief of Defence Staff General (Ret.’d) Rick Hillier and noted historian Professor Terry Copp, guests will visit historical landmarks and battle sites of France and Belgium to commemorate the overall Allied effort.

ITINERARY AT A GLANCE (SUBJECT TO CHANGE)
NOVEMBER 10 – Arrival and welcome dinner in Chantilly.
NOVEMBER 11 – Visit the new Monument to Canadian Soldiers in Mons, Belgium and attend the International
Ceremony commemorating the 100th anniversary of the signing of the Armistice. Menin Gate Ceremony in Ypres.
NOVEMBER 12 – Travel to Vimy and Beaumont Hamel Newfoundland Memorial.
NOVEMBER 13 – Explore WW1 sites around Cambrai, including Bourlon Wood and Canal du Nord.
NOVEMBER 14 – Departure.
